iFit Solutions Image 16.0 q treadmill Review

A treadmill for under $500 with club class features- that’s the iFit Solutions Image 16.0 Q for you! It’s a feature rich lower end model from Icon Health and Fitness, the fitness equipment giant. It has some Precision Response features that set it apart from other similar priced models.

The iFit Solutions Image 16.0 Q is big and beefy with attractive features. It is powered by a 2.5 HP motor (not continuous duty) that gives sturdy support to the workout mostly for long term light use. Speed can be adjusted from 0 to 10 using Speed control button so you can walk, jog or run. Incline can be adjusted from 1.5 to 10 % using Power Incline button to guide your workout intensity. These can be used to adjust speed and incline according to your workout requirements.

The 54” L x 19” W tread belt gives ample space for moving about while working out. It is best that the tread belt is only this big- if the tread belt were bigger; the motor would not be able to support it.

The machine has 5 preprogrammed inbuilt workout options. Each of them is designed to various requirements of your workout. Precision Response grip pulse sensors give accurate pulse readings and you can design your workout according to your target heart rate zone. The Precision Response Console keeps track of various aspects of the work out and displays results through a 5 LED window with a 7 x 10 matrix display.

The machine is also iFit compatible meaning use of Internet, compact disc or video media to enhance your workout programs. Space saver design makes it easy to use and store the machine.

The low price is however a cover up for low quality of parts and small warranties. In this light, treadmill doctor gives a strict review-“you get what you pay for but if you are cheap and you want an eventual clothes hanger (and they do work well for that) this is your machine.”

The main drawback with this brand is the small warranty on the machine- only up to 90 days. It is also infamous for poor quality of its parts. This is basically a bargain basement treadmill. For the small price you get some interesting features but be prepared for repairs and troubles. Do not expect it to stand up to heavy-duty regular use. But in all, Image treadmills offer more value for money than other brands at this price range.

In sum, the features of iFit Solutions Image 16.0 Q treadmill are-
