It is powered by a 2.5 HP motor (not continuous duty) that gives sturdy support to the workout mostly for long term light use. Speed can be adjusted from 0 to 10 using Speed control button so you can walk, jog or run. Incline can be adjusted from 1.5 to 10 % using Power Incline button to guide your workout intensity. The 54” L x 19” W tread belt gives ample space for moving about while working out. It is best that the tread belt is only this big- if the tread belt were bigger; the motor would not be able to support it.
